About Ignela
Ignela exists for the person who already knows SQL — the analyst, the technical founder, the data-literate ops lead — and is tired of choosing between a heavyweight BI rollout and a screenshot of a query result.
The idea
Modern BI platforms make you model first and design last: semantic layers, certified datasets, a ticket queue. Ignela inverts that. You write one direct SQL query; the result becomes a cached dataset; polished dashboards are designed on top of it in minutes. The governance that normally arrives with the expensive tool — caching schedules, certification, a data dictionary, roles, audit — is built in from day one, so you do not outgrow Ignela at the first compliance question.
The name
Ignela is coined from the Latin ignis — fire. Our mark is a single struck spark: the answer is already in your data; Ignela is the strike that brings it to light.
European by default
Ignela is built and operated from Ireland. EU data residency is the default for every plan, not an enterprise add-on. We think Europe deserves a credible alternative to defaulting analytics to US-hosted platforms, and we are building it.
